TWYN Sites

One business. Four looks. Or none of them.

A theme changes the colours, the type, the spacing and the corners. It never changes your structure or your content, so you can change the look without rebuilding anything. And when a theme is not enough, the bespoke build is a different thing entirely.

Everything below is a real instance, not a screenshot: open it, book something, then sign in as the owner.

Bespoke build

Maison Verre · a salon built, not skinned

Our own art direction, an editorial hero, a real price table with times, a before-and-after section with the story behind it, staff pages, and written copy that sounds like a person. The booking form and the owner board are the same as every TWYN site, because the business side should never be the premium part.

Owner password: demo-atelier. Eight pages, five priced services, four owner-board stages. Try booking a consultation and watch it land.

  • · Art direction, type pairing and colour chosen for the business, not picked from a list.
  • · Written copy, service wording, price presentation and the before-and-after narrative.
  • · Custom sections built for that business, in the same engine, so they stay fast and editable.
  • · Your photography when you have it. Until then the layout is designed to hold type, not to look unfinished.

Bespoke is a build, not a licence: priced as a project, and yours at the end. Get a written scope and an indicative price.

Themes, live

And the real staff room behind it

The salon demo is not a mock board. Bookings taken on that site land in a real OpenSalon ledger: clients, services with durations, staff, retail stock with low-stock alerts, and an appointment workflow that moves booked to confirmed to in progress to completed. Open source, self-hosted, no per-chair fee.

The staff room is private. Ask for the demo login and we will send it.

Trades, live

What every theme has to pass

  • · Body text at 19px, line height 1.65, line lengths capped so text stays readable.
  • · Contrast checked rather than eyeballed, buttons and prices included.
  • · Tap targets at 48px, visible form labels, a real phone link on mobile.
  • · Five navigation items at most, in plain words.
  • · Company number, address and a named human in the footer.

A theme that cannot meet the floor is not sold. That is the difference between a template and something a customer in their sixties can actually use.

Where the money goes, and where it does not

  • · The DIY pack is a one-off. No per-site licence fee riding on top, no platform taking a cut of your bookings.
  • · A bespoke build is priced as a project, with the scope written down before it starts.
  • · Hosting is optional: run it yourself, or have TWYN run it for a monthly fee that covers what it costs.
  • · Leave whenever you like, with the site files, the content and the customer records.

The honest bit

  • · The demo businesses are invented. No real names, numbers or photos are used.
  • · Demo data resets, so the board is not a record of anything.
  • · Card payments are off in the demos. Deposits are wired per customer after a conversation.
  • · A new trade pack comes together quickly, but it is checked against a real business before it is sold.
